Colors to bring back Entertainment ki Raat

This time the show will have 12 episodes and will replace the singing reality show Rising Star. Season 2 will be launched on April 21 and will be telecast at 9pm on weekends

Colors has announced the comeback of its non-fiction property, Entertainment ki Raat@9 Limited edition. The second season of the show will have 12 episodes and will replace the singing reality show Rising Star, which celebrated its finale on April 15. Entertainment Ki Raat season 2 will be launched on April 21 and will be telecast at 9pm on weekends.

Udaan precedes Entertainment ki Raat@9, while it will be followed by Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan at 10pm on Saturday. On Sundays, Chandrakanta will air at 8pm, followed by the new reality show and then Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan at 10pm again.

Colors has announced the auditions for its next dance reality show Dance Deewane. Though nothing has been announced yet, but it is being understood that the dance reality show will replace Entertainment Ki Raat@9 after 12 episodes.

The format of the show is same as the previous season, including stand-up comedy, gossip and tête-à-têtes with celebrity guests. Saumya Tandon and Neha Pendse along with Abhilash will join comedians Mubeen Saudagar, Balraj and child artist Divyansh who will be back to amuse the audience.

It will be produced by Optimystix Entertainment India.

Kick-starting the show will be actor Sanjay Dutt followed by B-town mommies Farah Khan and Raveena Tandon in episode 2. At his candid best, Dutt spoke about his time in prison as well as the happiness he gets from being with his family while Khan and Tandon reminisced about their antics from college and what motherhood entails. Celebrity couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, Karisma Kapoor and Ganesh Acharya are the next in line on the celebrity list.
